BRAKE SYSTEM FAILURE, WHEELS LOCK UP, TIRES CAUGHT FIRE. TT CRUISE CONTROL HARD TO DISENGAGE BY FOOT BRAKE. LOUD NOISE WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED, BRAKE LIGHTS ARE INOPERATIVE, BRAKE SWITCH HAS BEEN WORKED ON TWO TIMES, THE TOY AXLE BRAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN WORKED ON FOUR TIMES, TOY AXLE BRAKES HAVE LOCKED UP. SEVERAL EQUIPMENT ISSUES INCLUDING, AWNIING HAS HOLES AND KNOTS, TOILET SEAT HITS DOOR FAME WHEN RAISED, SHOWER DOOR BINDS AT BOTTOM, ROOF HAS RUST, SLIDE OUT WALL PANELING IS SEPARATING. *SLC

The contact owns a 1998 Winnebago Itasca travel trailer. The contact stated that after parking the RV, the RV would inadvertently roll forward or backward. The contact applied the parking brakes and exited the RV to chock the wheels. The RV was not diagnosed nor repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 86,000.

SHOCK BRACKET BROKE OFF & FELL & CAUGHT ON THE HYDRAULIC JACK WIRING. 2 WEEKS LATER, LEFT SIDE DID THE SAME THING. BRACKET COULD HAVE FALLEN & STUCK IN THE TIRE, CAUSING A DEADLY ACCIDENT. DEALER IS GIVING CONSUMER THE RUN AROUND. PART IS MANUFACTURED BY 3-T'S RV PRODUCTS INC . BOTH BRACKETS WERE TAKEN OFF & CHEVROLET OR ITASCA WONT BE RESPONSBILE IN SAYING WHY BRACKETS WERE BOLTED TO THE FRAME. CONSUMER BOLTED THE SHOCK TO THE FRAME & ELIMINATED THE BRACKET ALL TOGETHER. 2011 WINNEBAGO ITASCA. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE STEPS FAILED TO EXTEND. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE RV HAD BEEN PARKED FOR TWO MONTHS. THE CONSUMER DISCOVERED THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. HE USED THE TRICKLE CHARGER TO START THE RV, AS HE WAS INSTRUCTED TO DO, IF THE UNIT DID NOT START. THE NEXT DAY, THE CONSUMER OPENED THE DOOR AND DID NOT NOTICE THE STEPS FAILED TO EXTEND, WHICH RESULTED IN HIM FALLING OUT OF THE UNIT AND INJURING HIS SHOULDER IN THE PROCESS. HE CONTACTED THE TECHNICIANS TO GET AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THE CHASSIS…

2008 WINNEBAGO HAS PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION, ENGINE, AND BRAKES. *NJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE TRANSMISSION WOULDN'T SHIFT INTO HIGH OR LOW GEARS WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. THE RV WOULD NOT GO ANY FASTER THAN 15 MPH. THE ENGINE LOST ALL POWER WHILE DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEED. THE BRAKES WERE REPLACED TWICE WITHIN THE FIRST 15,000 MILES. THE PADS WERE WORN. *JB

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 WINNEBAGO ITASCA SUN CRUISER. WHILE DRIVING AT 65 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL MOVED TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT INDEPENDENTLY. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT HAD TO CONSTANTLY ADJUST THE STEERING WHEEL IN ORDER TO KEEP THE VEHICLE STEADY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 16,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
