I was driving the van a day after I bought it with only 42 miles on it, was going to make a turn onto a busy road and the car made a horrible noise and suddenly stopped. After a minute the 03A "fix" came on warning me to pull over safely but the car had stopped on it's own and would not restart, it was dead. Had I been on the highway when it happened it could have ended very badly.

My air conditioner went out in my car three weeks after purchase. I took it to the dealership. They replace several parts and said that there was an electrical issue they ran into. They said they had to get approval from Chrysler engineering in order to replace the part. The car was in the dealership for over a month. Other findings state that the air-conditioning unit was low on Freon. And several fuse arrays were not working properly. The power train system of our vehicle experienced a critical malfunction, as indicated by the "Service Charging System" error message and engine light on the dashboard, leading to a loss of power in the accelerator. It is possible to start the 2023 Pacifica and put it into Reverse and not be able to steer it, and have done so, and can easily recreate the issue repeatedly. Engine is on. Shift knob is on R. If vehicle is on a slope, it will drift down the slope (backing up in my case) and the steering wheel is locked and even though in Reverse, the drive train does not engage. I have had this van for just under a year. While driving on the freeway last year, it gave me a warning to pull over and that the van would shut down soon. When I took it to the dealership, the check engine light had turned off and I was told there was nothing they can do. On a recent 1000 mile family trip, we had the same thing happen 5 times. I engaged the speed control (NOT adaptive speed control, also equipped on this car), and set my desired speed. I pressed and held the SET+ button to increase speed, as demonstrated at 1:27 on this video [XXX] from Mopar for an older model of this vehicle. When I released the button, the car continued to accelerate. Pressing Cancel or disabling speed control stopped the acceleration. This behavior is repeatable.
