Owner report 11587455 · 2024-05-07 (May 7, 2024)

Transmission failure. The CVT transmission did not engage in gear while driving (on the highway!) I was able to drive in "limp mode" to reputable mechanic in the area. The mechanic flushed the CVT fluid, changed the filters and checked all the electronic codes, but the problem persists. The vehicle will require a new transmission or a rebuild.

The emergency braking system occassionally engages when I am driving. On about four occassions I was driving and the alarm began beeping. The car suddenly began braking. This afternoon on my way home from work, the following warning appeared after a brief beeping sound, " FEB. Warning. See Owners Manual." A symbol was also lit on the dashboard. This warning remained on until I turned my vehicle off onc…

My vehicle shut down while driving, my safety, the safety of others was very much at risk as the vehicle shut down with no warnings while driving at a very busy time and roads, cars where honking at me, I have not taken the vehicle to the dealer ship as they were just going to run a diagnosis and charge almost $300 dollars for that however I took my vehicle to Auto Zone they checked it briefly for me and found no error codes but this shut down has now happened twice while driving is very scary. The warning lamp that pop while vehicle shut down …
