Owner report 11527707 · 2023-06-19 (June 19, 2023)

After backing out of the driveway, our Mach-e started accelerating without putting my foot on the accelerator. Car literally was just getting faster and faster without me doing anything. When I did press the accelerator after the stop sign to the entrance to our neighborhood, nothing happened and the car just rolled forward. Took my foot off the right pedal and it started accelerating again. Got out to the main road, had to pull over, and rode the brake back home. In short, the car accelerates without pressing the accelerator.

Owner report 11540038 · 2023-08-22 (August 22, 2023)

The HVBJB subassembly in ALL Ford Mach-e vehicles has known defects with 'under-designed' main contactors that are known to fail under normal charging and driving conditions as outlined in current open Ford recall notice for my vehicle 22s41. Unfortunately, the internal damage to contactors is not visible externally, and warning notices on display only after damage has occurred, and can result in sudden loss of propulsion power at highway speed, loss of power steering, and power brakes... and failure of other 12v systems due to failure to charg…

Owner report 11554282 · 2023-11-09 (November 9, 2023)

The vehicle regularly, and at random times, will drop out of the chosen drive setting and go to the default "Engage" mid-level setting. This changes the driving dynamics, such as pedal pressure required to move the car, and the sensitivity of the steering. If the driver was in "Unbridle", for example, the car will immediately lose speed and steering sensitivity, while if the driver was in "Whisper", the car will lurch forward. This has happened at city speeds, highway speeds, and even while at a stop in a line of cars. The stop is especially da…

Owner report 11654233 · 2025-04-12 (April 12, 2025)

I have a 2023 Mach e premium on lease.
I drive using single pedal mode.
Three days ago I pulled into a parking spot in front of a restaurant in a plaza. When I took my foot off the accelerator the car came to a complete stop (as it should have ) … about a half a second later, before I could put the transmission into park, the vehicle went full throttle and jolted forward up over the curb onto the plaza sidewalk and crashed into a full brick column. I slammed on the breaks as fast as I could, but if the brick column was not there, we would ha…
