Owner report 11463713 · 2022-05-07 (May 7, 2022)
Brakes make a grinding sound at low speed. When in reverse, brakes make a humming sound. This was the same issue that caused a recall of previous models, however my vehicle is not covered by the recall. Took the vehicle to the dealer and they said “we know there is a noise but the brakes are working properly.” The noise is not normal.

Owner report 11460423 · 2022-04-11 (April 11, 2022)
Car failed to go into drive several times while in traffic. Was bought with zero miles and started making strange grinding and knocking noises immediately. When I reported it I was told I couldn’t get it checked for a month and that it was safe to drive until appointment. I was soon stuck in the middle of busy intersections because car would not drive after I give it gas and it acted like it was in neutral. This happened every time I stopped until I made it safely home it was very scary because I could have caused an accident not being able to…

Owner report 11549486 · 2023-10-11 (October 11, 2023)
Battery installed is bad. Different operations were not working properly and I was afraid could stall out in traffic or leave me stranded. Dealership diagnosed it as bad, but now Ford is not acknowleding it is an issue and covering rentals to fix. I have seen many complaints about the Ford Bronco Sport tearing through batteries before their time. Mine was less than a year and a half old and less than 6,000 miles at the time the battery was acting up.

Owner report 11553512 · 2023-11-03 (November 3, 2023)
Rear brakes moan when reversing at low speed. Has done this since day one. Also the transmission shifts are hard and hangs in sport mode and won’t shift. It hangs at almost 5k rpms and when I let off the gas no shift till 2300 rpms. Took it in and they looked at the transmission fluid said it was darker than usual for the mileage (14,000) and recommended a fluid flush that’s not covered by warranty. They changed fluid and I ask why it was doing this they said “ well that’s why we changed the fluid” which tells me nothing! Now the engine compart…

Owner report 11476865 · 2022-08-01 (August 1, 2022)
Brand new vehicle with about 3500 miles on it. Delivered 04/29/2022. On three separate occasions between 07/29/2022 - 07/31/2022, the vehicle started jerking/losing acceleration while driving and the engine began to sputter. Upon slowing down and during idle, the engine would continue sputtering to low RPM and eventually stall. This happened while driving on the road, almost resulting in an accident in a roundabout during one of the instances. The error I received via the Ford Pass app is: The Engine Control System is unable to control the fuel…

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V859000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and was not satisfied with the manufacturer's proposed remedy. The contact stated that the fuel injector needed to be replaced. Owner report 11511492 · 2023-03-13 (March 13, 2023)
The manufacturer (Ford) has failed to remedy the fuel injector safety recall (22S73)in a timely manner. Ford has prioritized repairing it's unsold cars first rather than fixing the safety issue for customers who have already purchased vehicles. Despite receiving a notification in the mail stating that parts are now available, my local dealer has been unable to complete federally mandated repairs due to the parts being on backorder for an unknown time duration.

Owner report 11476738 · 2022-07-31 (July 31, 2022)
There is a repeating clicking noise (click, click, click…) every time I turn the steering wheel. It only occurs when it’s above 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Any problem related to the steering, or turning of the vehicle is a safety concern in my opinion. Ford forces the owner to make a service appointment to get the problem inspected (I could not just drive to a dealership). The earliest I could schedule an appointment at one of the three nearest dealerships to me is a week from the day I’m writing this complaint. So I guess I can either keep…
