Owner report 11428010 · 2021-08-06 (August 6, 2021)

The dash cluster was dead and the start button LED just flashed on and off. The battery, checked with a VOM, showed normal voltage. The vehicle would not start. I unhooked one of the battery terminals and waited 10 minutes for the system to reset. After reconnecting the battery the vehicle lit up, behaved and started as normal. One should not have to carry tools to reboot their vehicle.

Owner report 11432247 · 2021-09-09 (September 9, 2021)

On morning of Sept 2, 2021 I was driving home from my overnight shift as a nurse getting off about 0635, driving down a major street in the downtown area. I was approx 6 blocks from my hospital approaching a busy intersection and my Bronco Sport [2021] lost all power. Because my speed was only 30mph, it was easy to just come to a stop after a short roll Anytime the Bronco Sport shuts off it automatically goes into Park. So I had no power, not even flashers and could not put it into neutral to push it out of the intersection onto a side street…

Owner report 11470975 · 2022-06-25 (June 25, 2022)

While driving on surface and freeway, the vehicle dramatically loses fuel pressure and slows down. It's a hazard. Nearly rear-ended on the highway. After a while, pressure resumes, only to fail randomly. No warning or malfunction indicators appear. Vehicle has been at a Ford service center 2 times and is there again, now. First, they changed the battery. Then they told us we didn't drive it enough. Suspiciously, there's a recall addressing the exact same issue on the same make and model, made at a different plant. Perhaps it's related? NHTSA C…

Owner report 11473343 · 2022-07-11 (July 11, 2022)

There is an electrical issue with the cars running lights, headlights and interior lighting. Intermittently, when the car is shut off and either locked or unlocked, the cars running lights, and/or headlights, and/or interior lighting fail to shut off. This occurs BEYOND the 30 to60 minute delay feature. This happens when you lock the door from the door lock or the key fob. In all cases the car has to be unlocked and relocked, trying either, or re-starting the car, shutting it off and locking the car again. At some point the battery will fai…
