LEFT REAR TIRE FELL APART AND KNOCKED THE GENERATOR FUEL TANK FILLER NECK OFF, SPILLING FUEL ONTO THE HIGHWAY. THE TREAD OF THE TIRE JUST CAME OFF. IT ALSO TORE OFF THE ELECTRIC BRAKE WIRES AND DISABLED THE BRAKES. THERE WAS A BIG POTENTIAL FOR FIRE AND EXPLOSION AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF LIFE(RIM SPARK ON PAVEMENT, CIGARETTE BUTT THROWN FROM OTHER CARS, ECT). FLEETWOOD HAS NOT RESPONDED TO ME YET. I ALSO FEEL THAT THIS TRAILER WAS MANUFACTURED WITH AN UNDERATED TIRE INSTALLED ON IT. THE TRAILER HAS A GVWR OF 9600LBS AND THE TIRES ARE RATED AT 2150…

2004 PROWLER LYNX 5TH WHEEL, MANUFACTURED BY FLEETWOOD. WHILE ADJUSTING THE ELECTRIC BRAKES, I FOUND THAT ALL 4 BRAKE ASSEMBLIES HAD BEEN MOUNTED ON THE WRONG SIDES OF THE VEHICLE, I.E., THE ACTUATING ARMS FACED TOWARD THE REAR. THE PRIMARY SHOES FACED THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. ASSEMBLIES MARKED L WERE ON THE RIGHT (PASSENGER) SIDE AND VICE VERSA. I CALLED FLEETWOOD AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIXING THE PROBLEM. IF I HAD TO GUESS, IT APPEARS THE AXLES WITH BRAKES AND HUBS ALREADY MOUNTED WERE INSTALLED BACKWARD DURING …

CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL CONCERNING SAMSUNG/MICROWAVE OVEN/SHORT CIRCUIT. CONSUMER CONTACTED A REPAIR SHOP TO FIX THE SAMSUNG MICROWAVE. MECHANIC SHOWED UP WITH THE WRONG PARTS, AND LEFT THE MACHINE DISMANTLED ON THE COUNTER. CONSUMER TRIED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO CONTACT THE REPAIR SHOP WHERE THE MECHANIC WORKED, BUT IT WAS OF NO AVAIL. ALSO, CONSUMER WAS HAVING A HARD TIME CONTACTING THE MANUFACTURER. *AK

DT: THE CONTACT COMPLAINED ABOUT STRUCTURE FAILURE ON A FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILER . WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH FELT A SWAY IN THE TRAILER. A PASSERBY MOTIONED TO HIM TO PULL OVER. UPON INSPECTION OF THE FIFTH WHEEL THERE WAS A SHIFTING OF THE FRAME TO THE POINT OF SEPARATION. THE WELDS BROKEN OFF THE FRAME BODY. THE TRAILER WAS UNABLE TO BE TOWED DUE TO INSTABILITY.
