PURCHASED THIS THE BIKE WOULD GO FOR PERIODS OF TIME WITHOUT STALLING THEN IT STARTED STALLING NOT ONLY WHEN YOU TOOK OFF FROM A STOP, BUT WHEN YOU SHIFTED GEARS UP OR DOWN SHIFTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A TURN, LEFT WAS MORE OFTEN. AT THE END OF NOVEMBER 2012 I WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN, THE BIKE COUGHED THROUGH THE THROTTLE BODIES AND DIED. AN ON COMING CAR ALMOST HIT ME. C clip fell out of transmission causing gears to crash together. Could have locked up rear tire but gears broke and wouldn't allow movement in 4th gear

17V647000 · Engine And Engine Cooling:Engine | Service Brakes, Hydraulic

Reported: 2017-10-12 (October 12, 2017)

Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain 2010-2017 Victory Cross Country, Cross Country Tour, Cross Roads, Magnum, and Hard Ball motorcycles. If the engine misfires, continued riding may result in heat from the catalytic converter melting the rear brake line and nearby wiring.

Consequence: A melted rear brake line can reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will re-route the brake line away from the exhaust catalyst, free of charge. The recall began on November 8, 2017. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-877-737-7172. Polaris' number for this recall is V-17-02.
