The lower portion of both headlights frosts on the inside of the lamp at temps below freezing. The frosting limits the projection of the beam at night. This problem must be corrected through a recall. GMC has a BULLETIN on this problem, but does not offer a fix.

Owner report 11590883 · 2024-05-27 (May 27, 2024)
The interior of the updated 2022+ Silverado 1500 and 2024+ HD Silverado has multiple chrome surfaces lining various components of the dash and center console. When operating the vehicle during daylight hours, the reflectivity of the chrome reflects sunlight and directs glaring light into your eyes at various angles. This glaring and dazzling light reflection causes a direct blinding irritation to the driver that interferes with visibility outside of the vehicle and reduces the driver's ability to safely identify and react to changes in the road…

Owner report 11591480 · 2024-05-30 (May 30, 2024)
Rear back up camera and front camera only work intermittently. This is concerning when backing up in congested areas such as busy parking lots and backing out of driveways. The dealership has been made aware of the issue, but I have not had time to take the truck in to get assessed. The only warning I get is a blank screen with a ‘X’ and a camera icon.

Owner report 11591995 · 2024-06-02 (June 2, 2024)
Tire: 275/60R20 I was driving at the top of Bay bridge, MD and the rear tire just blew up and automatically messaged came on the gauge cluster and my phone that there’s 0psi in the tire so I had to stop on top of the bridge and put a spare on which was quite dangerous but I had no choice because I couldn’t drive on the rim, tow truck showed up and helped me, I had only couple ladders on the back so there was almost no additional weight on the tires and at only couple months old vehicle with only 4,900 miles this should’ve happened. I automatic…

Owner report 11592556 · 2024-06-05 (June 5, 2024)
The cluster that makes my dash gauges visible has failed and malfunctioning. The safety concern is that I cannot see my speed, my tire pressure, mileage, and I will not be able to see if there are other issues wrong with my vehicle since the entire dash gauges are not visible. The system is not resetting while driving and I lose power when it does that. I have to guess when to put gas or put the risk of myself and other drivers of my vehicle stalling out in the middle of a highway. The issue has been inspected by a dealer during an oil chan…

Owner report 11599203 · 2024-07-05 (July 5, 2024)
As I stopped at a red light, I received a message on my instrument panel to “push state”. I noticed my RPMs were at 0 and my vehicle was in neutral. I attempted to shift into drive, but received the same message again. I already had my foot on the brake as I was stopped, so I pushed the start button. The vehicle began its normal startup sequent and my RPMs return to normal. I shifted into drive and was able to continue to where I was headed. At no time did I ever shift the vehicle into neutral or turn it off.

Reported: 2024-08-21 (August 21, 2024)
OEM Systems, LLC (OEM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado vehicles. The rear bumper mounting bracket may not be sufficient for towing, which can allow the towed trailer to detach from the vehicle.
Consequence: A trailer that detaches from a vehicle while driving increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: OEM will replace the rear bumper mounting bracket and hitch, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in August 2024. Owners may contact OEM customer service at 1-800-810-7252.
