Owner report 11599203 · 2024-07-05 (July 5, 2024)

As I stopped at a red light, I received a message on my instrument panel to “push state”. I noticed my RPMs were at 0 and my vehicle was in neutral. I attempted to shift into drive, but received the same message again. I already had my foot on the brake as I was stopped, so I pushed the start button. The vehicle began its normal startup sequent and my RPMs return to normal. I shifted into drive and was able to continue to where I was headed. At no time did I ever shift the vehicle into neutral or turn it off.

1. Experiencing intermittent hard shifting accompanied by shock and noise, 2. Unexpected shifting and shifting delays that cause rapid RPM increases. These issues were primarily observed at low gears and worse with stop and go traffic. The check engine light appeared approximately one month after noticing these symptoms.

Owner report 11592556 · 2024-06-05 (June 5, 2024)

The cluster that makes my dash gauges visible has failed and malfunctioning. The safety concern is that I cannot see my speed, my tire pressure, mileage, and I will not be able to see if there are other issues wrong with my vehicle since the entire dash gauges are not visible. The system is not resetting while driving and I lose power when it does that. I have to guess when to put gas or put the risk of myself and other drivers of my vehicle stalling out in the middle of a highway. The issue has been inspected by a dealer during an oil chan…

WHILE USING CRUISE CONTROL ON FREEWAY AT APPROX 70 MPH WHEN HEADED UP HILL AND THE VEHICLE REACHES APPROX. 2500-3k TACH, THE CRUISE WILL DISENGAGE AND SPEED WILL DROP IMMEDIATELY WITH NO WARNING. DEALER SAYS MANUAL STATES ONE MAY HAVE TO USE THROTTLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED BUT DOES NOT MENTION CRUISE DROPPING OFF. THIS IS AN EXTREME SAFETY RISK WHEN A VEHICLE IS BEHIND YOU ACCELERATING ON THE SAME INCLINE AND YOU SUDDENLY DROP SPEED WITH NO BRAKE LIGHTS ILLUMINATING.

Owner report 11611990 · 2024-09-01 (September 1, 2024)

I am writing to request urgent assistance with my Chevrolet truck, which has experienced several serious issues recently. On September 25, 2024, while driving, the steering wheel became stiff, and the engine's power stopped. The dashboard lights remained on, and I was unable to start or turn off the vehicle. The Chevrolet app initially indicated an airbag system issue. However, the next day, it reported problems with the engine and transmission system. I scheduled an appointment with the Bomnin dealership for September 28. When I arrived, the…

Owner report 11636481 · 2025-01-17 (January 17, 2025)

The issue involved multiple systems, including the ABS system, brake system, and electronic stability system (ESG), along with a significant loss of braking power. These components may still be available for inspection. My safety and that of others were seriously at risk during my morning commute in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The truck lost braking capability, nearly causing a collision with the vehicle in front of me. Later, as I attempted to park, it again lost braking force, and I narrowly avoided crashing into bushes. The collision prev…

Owner report 11627123 · 2024-11-24 (November 24, 2024)

I was taking a left from a stop sign onto a busy boulevard and as soon as I had passed the median I started losing acceleration and it felt like the transmission or engine was glitching or lugging. The engine began to try restarting itself possibly from the auto start-stop however I was now almost at a dead stop in the left hand lane in the dark. I promptly attempted to turn my hazards on, but they would not turn on while it was trying to start so I held the brake pedal down for light. I tried to turn the truck off and turn it back on however t…
