The contact owns a 2023 Buick Envision. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. No warning lights were illuminated, and the vehicle failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the ABS control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle remained at the dealer awaiting the part for the repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.

I had the brake fail twice in the past 2 months while driving the vehicle and was not able to stop it. I kept pushing on the break pedal but vehicle wouldn't slow down. I was only able to stop the vehicle by shifting the gear to neutral and letting the car come to stop on its own. While driving along, multiple signs such as malfunction indicator light, brake light, ABS light, traction control, electronic stability control, Forward collision system failure etc lit up on the dashboard and I could no longer slow the vehicle down using the brake…

Purchase with 20 miles listed from dealer 2023 Envision. Approximately 1 month after purchase, a flapping noise noted to the passenger side between front and rear door. Only occurs over 65 mph on highway. Took to dealer for inspection…said it was my car tag… NO IT IS STILL OCCURRING! Need help in finding this problem .

At the time I purchased this vehicle there was a shortage of chips to warn of items in the path while backing up. This is a safety feature and should be updated. Nine months is long enough to wait for promises to be acted on!

The contact owns a 2023 Buick Envision. The contact stated that upon purchasing the vehicle, the park assist sensor had not been installed in the vehicle. The contact was informed by the dealer that a letter would be sent once the sensor was available; however, the contact had not yet received the letter. Both the dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the issue and confirmed that the sensor was still unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50.

22V903000 · Exterior Lighting:Lighting Control Module:Software
Reported: 2022-12-08 (December 8, 2022)
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Cadillac CT4 and CT5; 2021-2023 Buick Envision; and 2022-2023 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles. The daytime running lights (DRLs) may not deactivate when the headlights are on. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence: DRLs that do not deactivate as intended may result in a glare, reducing visibility, and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The body control module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2023. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is N222386380. This recall expands previous recall number 22V-827.
