The contact received a notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V058000(Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was left at the local dealer for the recall repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Driving home and truck started acting like it was dragging and not going the correct speed. Then we got messages on the truck display . Parking Brake malfunction and System malfunction. We pulled over and called Sun Toyota. We then called Toyota roadside assistance and had it towed to them. They checked it out.

I purchased a brand-new 2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. From the first day, the steering wheel was off-center and the vehicle vibrated while driving. At around 500 miles, I noticed severe instability and abnormal tire wear. Vehicle was set in tow/haul mode. Tow/haul mode provides higher acceleration by changing the operation of transmission. Vehicle was towing 2500lb cargo trailer on interstate. The contact stated that while driving in the rain, when passing another vehicle, the vehicle began shuddering and experienced a loss of power. The check engine light illuminated and multiple other warning indicators. The vehicle pulled over to the vehicle was stopped and eventually restarted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer were it was diagnosed with an air intake failure. Shortly after, the vehicle experienced the same issue. Again and was returned to a dealer.
