The living compartments/slides, surge out on their own, at any time, parked or while moving. Unknown how far the slides may surge out, but I've talked to one owner, who said his slide came out 8 inches. Mine has come out about 4 inches, while parked and 2+ inches, while traveling/in-motion. A wiring harness, from the engine compartment is routed over the catalytic-converter, without a heatshield. Mine has been inspected and has this problem. In troubleshooting a power failure in the slide and leveling hydraulic system in this Class A RV, an electrical issue was discovered with the main powerline being frayed and corroded due to its placement next to the gas tank. It appears the power line may have been arching against the fuel tank. This seems like a very dangerous situation and should be reviewed. No incidents happened due to the discovery of this issue, and the powerline was repaired and moved away from the the fuel tank. If this was a repeated manufacturing issue by Tiffin, it …
