Owner report 11453548 · 2022-02-22 (February 22, 2022)
Without warning the car flashed an "Electrical Failure" warning and then lost all power and coasted to a stop while "bucking" slightly. This stranded us on the side of a narrow 2-lane road (NV28) with limited visibility. The high-voltage battery in the car apparently failed. This has been verified by the dealer. Our safety was put at risk by being stopped in a dangerous location on a narrow 2-lane road at night with falling temperatures. The "Electrical Failure" warning happened simultaneously with the vehicle losing power.

Owner report 11455183 · 2022-03-04 (March 4, 2022)
Drive mode for my 2022 Porsche Taycan 4S has been abruptly changing from Drive to either Neutral or Park on its own. Noticed within first week or so of ownership. Primarily has occurred during low to no speed situations (e.g., turning into a parking spot and car switches to Neutral abruptly or stopped at a red light and switches to Park). However, there has been one instance where drive mode switched to Neutral while I was going through an intersection resulting in a near crash with the vehicle in front as brakes were unresponsive while in Ne…

Owner report 11465064 · 2022-05-17 (May 17, 2022)
Car would go in to P or N during slow moving situations. Could of been rear ended or stuck in the middle of a intersection. Many Taycan owners have had the same issue. First time I was in stop and go traffic, as I let off the brake the car went into N. Second time after a few lights, car was in hold. Noticed the car did not go when light turned green when giving power. It was at P.

Owner report 11464523 · 2022-05-13 (May 13, 2022)
At low speeds the vehicle removed itself from drive D and shifted into neutral N. The vehicle started jerking forward and back while still moving. Once I put it back in drive it went away. No one was behind me so no accident resulted.

Owner report 11457923 · 2022-03-22 (March 22, 2022)
Came to a stop in traffic and vehicle switched from Drive to Neutral. Power steering also lost. Was able to switch back to drive and proceed without incident. This has occurred twice in the 2547 miles I have driven the car since new.

Owner report 11472838 · 2022-07-07 (July 7, 2022)
When the car was in Drive (D) mode but stationary at a red light, it abruptly went in to park (P) without any user intervention. Had to reengage the drive mode to move forward. Problem has occurred at least twice before (months apart) without any reproducibility. I did bring it to the dealer once but they did not find any abnormal logs. Latest occurrence on 7/6/2022 at approximately 6:15 PM Lost power steering assist completely in my driveway while backing out of the garage in reverse mode. No warning signs on the cluster. Could not turn the…

Owner report 11490080 · 2022-10-19 (October 19, 2022)
The vehicle has stalled out repeatedly while driving. When starting from an intersection it will lose all power and a turtle icon shows up on the screen and the car will not move more than 5 MPH. After rolling to a stop, and restarting the car drives okay. Then a few days or a week, month later, it happens again. Also, the PCM repeatedly weekly, fails to boot up and I have no backup camera or controls of the car. The dealer erases codes and gives the car back, they don't know what's wrong.
