WHEN DRIVING OUR NV2500 ON A CITY STREET THE VAN JUST WENT DEAD. ENGINE QUIT, NO ELECTRICAL, NO DASH LIGHTS, NOTHING. I PUT THE VAN IN PARK AND TRIED TO RESTART. NOTHING, TOTALLY DEAD. WAITED A MINUTE OF SO AND TRIED TO RESTART - SAME AS BEFORE - NOTHING TOTALLY DEAD. OPENED THE HOOD AND CHECKED BATTERY CABLES - OK. LOOKED FOR ANY LOOSE IGNITION WIRE - OK. LOOKED UNDERNEATH VAN FOR ANY LIQUIDS COMING OUT OF ENGINE OR ANYTHING ELSE WEIRD -OK. WE CALLED AAA TO HAVE THE VAN TAKEN TO CLASSIC NISSAN IN STATESVILLE, NC. CALLED DEALER, EXPLAINED…

FUEL TANK WAS TAKING 20 MINUTES TO FILL. WE RECEIVED A FULL TANK WARRANTY EXTENSON NOTICE BUT IT TOOK THE DEALER 3 TRIPS TO FINALLY TO GET THE RIGHT PART AND REPLACE AND AFTER 2 HOURS THEY INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE EVAP VENT VALVE AND CANISTER ASSEMBLY WITH FILTER FOR $620.00 I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH ANY OTHER VEHICLE . THE DEALER SAID IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE VEHICLES. THEN WHY HASN'T THIS BEEN RECALLED? I REFUSED TO HAVE THEM DO THIS AS I DON'T TRUST SINCE THEY COULDN'T EVEN GET THE RIGHT PART IN AND NEVE…
