TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 MERCURY VILLAGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKE LIGHTS HAVE FAILED FOR TWO YEARS AND SEVERAL UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE BULBS, FUSE, AND BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH, HOWEVER, THE FAILURE REMAINS. ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2007, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WERE REPLACED, BUT FAILED AGAIN ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2007. FOR PAST 3-4 YEARS HAVE HAD NUMEROUS OCCURRENCES OF POWER FAILING AND CAR STALLING WITH NO WARNING.
