Owner report 11543072 · 2023-09-07 (September 7, 2023)
Leaks break fluid when parked at an angle (nose facing down hill). Heat seems to be a factor because it leaks more on hot days. The dealer has tried to remedy the problem no fewer than 4 times, replacing many major components. There appears to be a design flaw in the master cylinder area as that is where the brake fluid keeps leaking from. I have to imagine if you keep losing break fluid it is a safety issue and an environmental one.

Owner report 11551419 · 2023-10-23 (October 23, 2023)
Driving vehicle with no vehicles within 100 yards directly in front of vehicle and with 1 car in the lane to vehicles right on a 2-lane road. Vehicle on the right was about 30-40 car lengths ahead of my own vehicle. The collision detection system and emergency braking system sounded off, lit up the dash panel stating BREAK, and then applied the brakes while going 50 mph with drivers behind me. The driver behind me had to swerve onto the left median to avoid colliding with my vehicle. The obvious issue here is that no vehicle was within any dist…

Owner report 11573634 · 2024-02-23 (February 23, 2024)
2023 Jeep Wagoneer steering wheel became locked with alerts on the dashboard "Power Steering Unavailable Service Required." Thank GOD I parked in a parking lot when I went food shopping. This has happened twice before to my wife in the garage but no alerts came out. I spent two hours stuck and 1 hour waiting for a tow truck. It was a cold day and after the heat to the seats and steering were on, the steering became soft and I was able to steer the car home. I took car to dealership the next day and they gave me a loaner. Two days later I went t…

Owner report 11588144 · 2024-05-10 (May 10, 2024)
My car recently hit 10k miles. We had a safe trip to Florida the week before no issues or signs of any issue. Two days ago I take my son to the pool at my mother in laws house and go to visit my parents and when I start to leave and pull out of the driveway my car stops and my steering wheel won’t turn but a certain amount. So I had to pull back and try multiple times. Every time I turn the wheel a certain amount it starts to sound like something is slowly cracking under the car. And the car just stops moving if you try to turn the wheel too mu…

Owner report 11556661 · 2023-11-24 (November 24, 2023)
This incident occurred today when I was on the slower lane and moved to the left lane in order to accelerate. The transmission didn't respond to my acceleration as a result the gear wouldn't shift to higher level and my vehicle remained stuck at the lower level. This could have been catastrophic to my family if there traffic was moving faster but because of slow moving traffic I was able to pull it over the shoulder and put it in neutral and then was able to drive. I haven't shown this issue to the dealer yet. I have checked about this problem …

Owner report 11615524 · 2024-09-19 (September 19, 2024)
The vehicle will throw itself in the park and shut off and not restart in the middle of traffic. It's not even stopped. You can hear the parking pin trying to engage until it slows to a point and then it'll slam on and lock up the brakes and skid to a stall. This has happened four times now and the vehicle has been in the shop the entire summer. Someone is going to get killed from this.

Owner report 11646254 · 2025-03-04 (March 4, 2025)
Immediately after getting off of the expressway on the drive to work, there is a stop light at the intersection of city streets. While sitting at the stop light, foot on the brake, the vehicle stopped running, the brake pedal went to the floor, and the Service Power Steering warning screen was flashing and chiming. I immediately put my hazard lights on to warn oncoming traffic that I wouldn't be proceeding, because at that point the light changed to green and people behind me were letting off their brakes and rolling forward. After about 45 sec…
