TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1993 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER. WHILE IN PARK WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE WOULD DISENGAGE AND SHIFT INTO REVERSE INDEPENDENTLY. ALSO, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, THE KEY WOULD NOT ENGAGE THE IGNITION. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAVING THE MUFFLER REPLACED, THE TECHNICIAN FOUND THAT A BOLT WAS MISSING FROM THE MOTOR MOUNT. We purchased this Grand Wagoneer on Mon June 27th and left for our family vacation we had planned in Oklahoma. We live in Castle Rock, Co. The next day on tuesday as we were driving on the I-35 the Transmission would drop out of gear and the rpm's would rev up. This would be while doing nothing but driving normally . Then it happened about 5 times over the course of 1.5 hours. We stopped for gas in and upon leaving to re enter the interstate the vehicle would kick when the gas was pressed. I am writing to formally document a serious and extremely concerning safety incident that occurred on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at approximately 12:06 PM while driving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer, which currently has approximately 58,000 miles.
