On 2/23/2022, owner struck a medium sized pothole. The vehicle lit up several warning lights (ABS, traction control, etc.) as well as the check engine light. At this time, the driver applied the brakes and they went to the floor. Driver was able to coast into a roundabout and eventually into a parking lot and got the vehicle stopped. Upon shutdown and re-start, the vehicle had brakes again. Vehicle was taken to dealer on 2/23/22 and returned on 2/25/22. Several updates were programmed and battery was replaced. Complaint - The wiring harness in my engine compartment is mounted on the firewall below the cowl. It runs from the driver’s side to the passenger side. On my vehicle, it has a significant drop on the driver's side, almost hitting the master brake cylinder cover. The wiring harness does move significantly on the driver's side. Note-Some kinds of clips are molded onto the wire harness cover. Vehicle has a malfunctioning climate control system due to electrical / software issues. When the climate control a/c is set to manual mode it will have a "ghost" control which will randomly change settings, it changes the set temperature - recirculating mode - a/c on and off - fan speed - fan direction (windshield, face, feet) - and will also apply to the rear passenger control unit. While traveling on San Marcos Highway between Luling and San Marcos at 65 MPH, the vehicle began to lose speed and I realized the engine was no longer powering the vehicle. No warning indicators other than an unresponsive throttle. I was able to coast off onto the shoulder and bring the vehicle to a stop. The dash prompted me to put the vehicle in park before starting so somehow the vehicle turned off while driving. Electrical issues- been to the dealer 4 times with no resolution Radio turns to max volume while trying to lower sound. Air/heat turns on and off by itself while driving.
