Owner report 11478521 · 2022-08-10 (August 10, 2022)
After pressing side button on seat for auto folding function the seat will no longer lock into its track. I took the vehicle to the dealership for a repair and was advised it will be a month before the part arrives on my 2 day old vehicle. I'm completely disgusted at the thought my child could be killed by a seat that just slides back and forth with nothing stopping forward or rear movement other than my drivers seat or the rear 3rd row seat. I'm pretty sure in an event of an accident forward motion to that degree would probably cause severe if…

Owner report 11484246 · 2022-09-13 (September 13, 2022)
The engine shut off suddenly while driving 3x times in 17 days of ownership, brand new car. It happened leaving the highway (decreasing speed around 40-55mph) and the brake doesn't work properly when it happens (makes it hard to break and then suddenly brake at once). I was happy no one was in front of me for 3x and I could stop safely without hurting anyone. No warning or indicator light showed before problem happen, and even after. The car is currently at dealer for inspection, have a video of the dash when it happens (lights flashing and eme…

Owner report 11527645 · 2023-06-19 (June 19, 2023)
I was just turning right from a stoplight into a store parking lot when I lost power steering & my brakes were ‘difficult’ to push down. I barely got it out of the way of traffic and I turned the car off, got out, opened and closed my door, and got back in and it started back up and drove to the parking spot like nothing had happened. Sensors reset to 0. It happened again 2 stops away while in a drive through. I did the same thing and it started back up ok. It would do this every 2-3 days for 2 weeks. Finally it did it one day, 5-6 times. The d…

Owner report 11532897 · 2023-07-18 (July 18, 2023)
I purchased my Hyndai Palisade on 06/14/2023 from Temecula Hyundai. We had the car for a week and then the car sat for three days. I went to get in it and found the battery was completely drained. Jump started the car and drove for two days. Going to leave my house and the battery was again drained. Took the car to the dealership and they said I had a bad battery. They replaced it. Took the car home. The following week we had the same issue, drained battery. Took the car back to the dealership. They had the car for two weeks and said a junction…

Owner report 11532926 · 2023-07-18 (July 18, 2023)
Car only has 1400 miles on it and is brand new. The engine for the car wont start when utilizing the push button within the car or app. The engine will only start by using the key fob. Initially we thought it was the battery, but after being able to turn the car on from the key fob, it was confirmed it was not the battery. Additionally, the car will randomly shut off when it is on. You can be driving the car and it will just shut off. The dealer service group upon initial drop off said they had never seen this before, but then they said it…

Owner report 11478505 · 2022-08-09 (August 9, 2022)
While driving on the highway, a safety alert appeared saying, “Engine is off. Shift to P or N.” The car then turned off on its own, and had to be restarted. The “start/stop” ignition button, nor the shift buttons, were pressed before the alert went off. Essentially, the engine stalled and the car stopped on its own while driving.

Owner report 11509900 · 2023-03-02 (March 2, 2023)
While driving in "snow mode" and starting from stop and going into turn, vehicle accelerated for few feet and then it stalled, basically the engine was ON but lost torque to wheels. Vehicle would start moving as soon as I change the drive mode to any other than snow mode. This happened few times and all times vehicle was in snow mode. Once even when the payment was dry but driving in snow mode. It has never happened in other drive modes. Luckily there was no incoming or side traffic or I could have ran into by other vehicles. A BIG SAFETY ISSUE…

Owner report 11548543 · 2023-10-05 (October 5, 2023)
When starting the vehicle, the engine will not fully start, it will turn over as if it’s out of gas. Canceling the start process, then retrying usually results in a running engine. As of October 5’th, my vehicle is not currently you on the fuel pump recall, but this issues seems like a fuel pump issue.
