A WELD JOINT ON THE FRAME OF MY HONDA REBEL JUST BROKE. I WAS IN FIRST GEAR IN MY PARKING LOT, NORMAL PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AND IT JUST SNAPPED OFF THE FRAME AND SWUNG OUT TO THE RIGHT. IF I WAS GOING FASTER OR ON THE INTERSTATE I COULD HAVE BEEN HURT. *JB

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA 250 REBEL. WHILE COMING TO A STOP, SHE NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL SHIFTED AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE STRUCTURE. AFTER EXAMINING THE BRAKE PEDAL, SHE NOTICED THAT THE PEDAL FRAME WAS CRACKED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 610.
