Owner report 11054173 · 2017-12-12 (December 12, 2017)

GOING DOWN THE ROAD IT WILL, WITH OUT WARNING, AUTOMATICALLY TURNS THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT. IT'S THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING. IT GOT ALOT WORSE. NOW IT WILL TURN THE STEERING WHEN I START THE CAR. THERE IS NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH LIKE CHECK ENGINE. IT HAPPENS WHEN IN MOTION AND STATIONARY. TURNING ALSO WAS HARD. IT WOULD STICK OR BE HARD TO STEER THEN WOULD FIGHT THE WAY YOU WANTED TO GO. HONDA HAS A OPEN CAMPAIGN ABOUT THIS PART THAT IS BAD FOR 150,000 OR 10 YEARS. BUT MY CAR HAS 94,000 AND JUST OVER 10 YEARS AND THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHI…

Sticky steering input when turning steering wheel, almost feels like the steering wheel slightly locks when doing turns. Most notably to the right.

Owner report 11184704 · 2019-03-06 (March 6, 2019)

I HAD AN ISSUE WHERE THE BRAKES DIDN'T STOP THE VEHICLE WHILE I WAS MOVING AROUND 40 MPH. AS IF THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM IS ACTIVATING TO EARLY WHEN THE BRAKES ARE LIGHTLY DEPRESSED. DEPRESSING THE BRAKE FURTHER DID NOT INCREASE BRAKING FORCE. I HAD TO AVOID A REAR END COLLISION BY RUNNING OFF THE ROAD INTO AN EMBANKMENT. I HAVE FOUND SIMILAR ISSUES ONLINE WHERE PEOPLE REPORTED THIS IS FROM A VSA, ABS, TCS MODULATOR THAT IS FAULTY. THIS SYSTEM SHOULD HAVE A FAIL-SAFE DESIGN NOT A FAIL-ARMING TYPE SYSTEM. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS THAT IT DOES …

Owner report 11000493 · 2017-06-21 (June 21, 2017)

HESITATION AND LAG ON ACCELERATION AFTER HARD OR QUICK BRAKE APPLICATION. FEELS LIKE ENGINE MOMENTARILY STALLING OR TRANS MISSION NOT ENGAGING FOR ONE OR TWO SECONDS.. HAPPENS WHEN VEHICLE IS IN MOTION, HAPPENS IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, HAPPENS COMING OUT OF TURNS,ALSO IN STRAIGHT LINE MOTION. POSES A SAFETY RISK SUCH AS WHEN ENTERING AN INTERSECTION AND NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCELERATE THROUGH THE INTERSECTION TO AVOID COLLISION WITH OTHER VEHICLES CROSSING THAT INTERSECTION.

Owner report 11550077 · 2023-10-15 (October 15, 2023)

Above roughly 50mph, the steering wheel “sticks” to a centered/neutral position, and requires a light amount of force to initiate movement to the left or right. This results in degraded ability to maintain lane position, and the driver constantly fighting overcorrections. If the issue becomes worse over time, it could potentially lead to hazardous swerving or oscillation at highway speeds. The condition was first observed around 15,000 miles, and has persisted through 25,000 miles. On 14 Oct 2023, I took the vehicle into a Honda dealer for a…

THE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY AT THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK JUST UNDER THE REAR PASSENGER SEAT DEVELOPS CRACKS BECAUSE OF IT BEING MADE OF PLASTIC.THIS HAPPENED ON MY CAR. QUITE A BIT OF FUEL LEAKS OUT OF THESE CRACKS WHEN OPERATING THE AUTOMOBILE. THE AVERAGE PERSON MIGHT NOT EVER KNOW THIS IF IT WAS ALWAYS PARKED OUTSIDE. THE POTENTIAL FOR FIRE OR EXPLOSION IS RATHER PRONOUNCED BECAUSE OF WHERE IT SITS. IF HONDA IS GOING TO USE PLASTIC IN ITS FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM THEN LET THEM MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T LEAK YEARS DOWN THE ROAD. I HAVE READ ABOUT THIS ON TH…
