Owner report 11528208 · 2023-06-21 (June 21, 2023)

I have reported that software cannot be updated on my car. Since my first report my rear seatbelts no longer need to be fastened with children in the car or the seat belt notification of not being fastened does not work. My air conditioner will stop if my infotainment system needs to be adjusted through my phone, and today in the rain my brakes locked up twice. The latter occurrence was coming down 1000 foot downhill in the rain with a car in front and an 18 wheeler behind me

Owner report 11533345 · 2023-07-19 (July 19, 2023)

All the lights on my dash came on and the car would not move no faster than 10mph. Took it to the dealership and the mechanic stated that the brake light switch was not properly installed at the factory

Owner report 11535320 · 2023-07-30 (July 30, 2023)

I got in a car accident where the front of the car was hit and the car is totaled and the airbags in the front did not deploy. I got injured because my face hit the steering wheel. I submitted a complaint to Honda but they are taking a very long time to have someone go out and investigate the airbags. My insurance needs to take the car away this week

Owner report 11543887 · 2023-09-11 (September 11, 2023)

I have had 2 separate experiences with starting my car and the lights on the dashboard come on. A message comes on with rolling alerts that states the automatic emergency braking, steering assist, lane keeping assist, braking assist, hill hold, adaptive cruise control are all turned off. Additionally regenerative braking was also turned off. I took it to two different Honda dealerships for maintenance. (May 8th, July 20). If you wait 30 mins the alert will disappear. My most recent incidence occurred on Sept 2, I was out grocery shopping and th…

Owner report 11666664 · 2025-06-13 (June 13, 2025)

Driving the vehicle at highway speeds the large orange “Brake” warning illuminates and flashes, and the brake activates. This has happened approximately 5-6 times since I have owned the car. This started within 2 months of purchasing the vehicle. The dealer has tried replacing the front camera and I have changed the battery. None of this has fixed the issue. According to my Innova 5610 code reader, there are 32 pending codes for the Electric Brake Booster, including bring temperature too high, brake booster driver, circuit, overheat, brake peda…

Owner report 11536002 · 2023-08-02 (August 2, 2023)

The vehicle has a feature that when transmission is in Park, and certain parameters are met the vehicle engine turns off after 20 minutes. There are no warnings offered. I nearly died when taking a nap in my car on a hot day in my car with a/c running. Then, without warning the vehicle just turned off while I was sleeping. I was woken by a passerby who noticed my overheating body. This is obviously especially dangerous for children. I reached out to Honda and they confirmed this "feature". However, they offered No solution. There should at leas…

Owner report 11588327 · 2024-05-12 (May 12, 2024)

Vehicle sometimes picks up blacked out or repaved cracks in road as departing the lane. The vehicles steering wheels shakes and vibrates then steers back into what it thinks is the center of the lane. Mind you as I’m already centered. It begins pushing car into on coming traffic and lane. Also the bottom aluminum transmission cover has come loose causing the skid plate or cover to come down on one side. This particular piece has fallen off and was dragging causing sparks. Sometimes the speed limit on the dash reads 65MPH as 85MPH

Owner report 11704209 · 2025-12-10 (December 10, 2025)

Describe the Safety Issue: My 2023 Honda Accord (VIN: [VIN removed]) stalled in traffic due to electrical system failure. A certified Honda technician found undisclosed non-factory wiring, exposed wires, removed aftermarket alarm components, BCM communication failure, and multiple hard codes that cannot be cleared. The vehicle has serious electrical defects that affect engine communication and safety systems. These conditions create a risk of stalling, electrical fire, loss of power, and loss of control while driving. The defects were present a…

Owner report 11751783 · 2026-07-21 (July 21, 2026)

While driving my 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid, the vehicle suddenly displayed multiple warning messages, including a Check Engine Light, and immediately entered limp mode. Engine power was significantly reduced, making it difficult to accelerate and safely keep up with surrounding traffic. This unexpected loss of power created a potential safety hazard because the vehicle could not respond normally to throttle input. The vehicle was diagnosed by an authorized Honda dealership. The dealer confirmed Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P2101 and determined…

1.When slowing down my vehicle kicks like it is choking. It is available for inspection upon request.
