BRAKES FAILED 3 TIMES NO WARNING. HAD CHECKED NO ONE CAN FIND THE PROBLEM WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A VERY LARGE DIESEL MOTOR HOME NOT STOPPING. THANK GOD NOT IN SITUATION OR PLACE WHERE I HIT ANYTHING WAS ABLE TO STEER OUT OF THE PROBLEM OR WAS IN A DESERTED AREA. ABS LIGHT CAME ON AND PUSHED BRAKES TO THE FLOOR. FINALLY SLOWED DOWN. *JB

DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE ABS LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY ILLUMINATES. A NHTSA RECALL, #04V084000 WAS PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE CONCERNING, THE SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC HOWEVER, THE RECALL DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP WOULD NOT OFFER A SECOND REPAIR WITHOUT CHARGE UNDER THE RECALL. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC HAS MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS UNDER WARRANTY TO MAKE THE ABS LIGHT GO OFF WITHOUT SUCCESS. *AK

2004 GULFSTREAM SUNVOYAGER WITH ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION ISSUES. MECHANIC TOLD THE CONSUMER THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO HAVE THE REAR CALIPERS, BRAKE PADS, TURN ROTORS, AND NEW ABS SENSORS AND WORKHORSE WILL NOT COVER ANY OF IT. *KB THE CONSUMER STATED NOTICED MOTORHOME WOULD NOT PICK UP SPEED AND THOUGHT THERE WERE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS UNTIL FURTHER INVESTIGATED BY THE CONSUMER AND STATED THERE WAS A STRONG BRAKE SMELL. DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE IS WOOD AND SHEETS OF PLASTIC UNDER THE FLOOR OF THE VEHICLE WHICH SHOULD BE STEEL. THIS WAS CONSIDERED A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE FLAMMABLE MATERIALS WERE USED TO CLOSE THE HOT TAIL PIPES, MUFFLER AND GAS TANK. THE SERVICE DEALER DETERMINED THIS WAS THE WAY THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGN.
