TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD MOTOR HOME. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V336000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL). THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN HOME FROM THE DEALER. WHEN THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF, THE CONTACT SMELLED A STRONG BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE BATTERY WAS DISCONNECTED AND THE DEALER REPLACED THE HARNESS AGAIN, ALONG WITH AN ADAPTER. WHEN THE HARNESS WAS REPLACED, THERE WAS BRAKE FLUID ALL OVER THE WIRES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PISTON STUCK IN THE REAR DRIVER SIDE BRAKE…

HEAVY RAIN,DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT TIME,ENGINE BREATHER TUBE AND FILTER IN FRONT OF RADIATOR SUCKED UP WATER IN LARGE AMOUNTS CAUSING THE FILTER ELEMENT TO COLLASPE AND RESTRICT AIR INTAKE TO THE ENGINE,CAUSING A LOSS OF POWER AND ENGINE RPM. STEERING CONTROL AND BRAKES BECAME EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OPERATE. I BELIEVE THIS WILL HAPPEN AGAIN IF CAUGHT ON THE ROAD DURING ANY RAIN STORM.
