1991 FLEETWOOD FLAIR MOTORHOME ROOF AIR CONDITIONER KEPT TRIPPING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER ON A RECENT TRIP. THE BREAKER WAS VERY HOT. I OPENED THE PANEL AND FOUND A LOOSE LINE CONNECTION TO THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BUT NOTICED THAT ALL 110 VOLT WIRING IN MY MOTORHOME IS SOLID CONDUCTOR, NOT STRANDED. EVEN THE DUMBEST ELECTRICAL ENGINEER KNOWS NEVER TO USE SOLID CONDUCTOR WIRING IN A VIBRATION ENVIRONMENT SUCH AS CARS, BOATS, AIRPLANES AND MOTORHOMES. SINCE THE MOTORHOME IS NEARLY 20 YEARS OLD I AM FEARFUL OF FIRE IN THE 110 VOLT WIRING DUE TO FATIGUE OF…

MY FUEL PRESSURE DROPPED BELOW THE REQUIRED PRESSURE. I LIMPED INTO TRUCK STOP AND THEY CHECKED AND STATED FUEL PUMP FAILURE. I LIMPED ON HOME, (25 MILES) AND WENT ON THE INTERNET WITH THE QUESTION?? FUEL PUMP FAILURE ON F53, 1996 FORD MOTOR HOMES. FOUND A LOT OF FOLKS WITH THIS PROBLEM AT LOW MILES. FOUND FORD MOTOR COMPANY TECH. 3-4 INCHES OF PLAY IN THE WHEEL IS TOO MUCH. IN A WINDY SITUATION YOU MUST TURN THE WHEEL THAT FAR TO COUNTESTEER AND BY THAT TIME YOU HAVE NEARLY CHANGED LANES. FORD HAS REPLACED THE STEERING GEAR BOX AND TELLS ME THAT IST IS WITHIN SPECS.

FLEETWOOD FLAIR MOTORHOME 2000, FAULTY BRAKES. *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE REAR BRAKE CALIPERS LOCKED UP WHICH CAUSED THE BRAKE PADS TO CRYSTALLIZE. THE SHOWER WAS BROKEN, THE DEALER INSTALLED A NEW SHOWER HOSE, THE CONSUMER COMPLAINED OF A NOISE IN THE FRONT END DURING A HARD RIGHT/LEFT TURN, THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM.
