TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 DAMON INTRUDER RV. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THERE WAS AN UNUSUAL SMELL EMITTING FORM THE BRAKING SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE BEGAN DRAGGING AND WAS HESITANT TO ACCELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS MOVED OFF OF THE ROAD. ONCE THE VEHICLE COOLED OFF FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, IT BEGAN OPERATING NORMALLY. THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE BRAKING SYSTEM; HOWEVER, THE REMEDY WAS NOT AVAILABLE (NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V225000- SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). GENERATOR IS LOCATED RIGHT OUTSIDE THE BEDROOM SLIDE CAUSING THE CO DETECTOR TO GO AS HIGH AS 210. MY SON BECAME ILL. THE WINDSHIELD JUST POPPED OUT. WHEN I CONTACTED THE DEALER HE SAID THAT DAMON KNEW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND SHOWED THEM WHAT TO DO IF THEY CAME ACROSS THIS PROBLEM, HE SAW THIS AT THE PLANT TOUR.
