I OWN A 2016 CHEVROLET SS SEDAN, THERE IS CURRENTLY A RECALL FOR THE POWER STEERING RACK DUE TO THE LOSS OF POWER STEERING AT RANDOM TIMES DUE TO THEIR CHOICE TO CUT COSTS IN THE INITIAL ASSEMBLY. MY VIN IS NOT LISTED ON THE RECALL, MY VEHICLE WAS MADE IN DECEMBER 2015, THE RECALLED PART WAS REMOVED FROM PRODUCTION IN APRIL OF 2016, I HAVE TRIED TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE IN HOUSE WITH GM, I HAVE HAD MY VEHICLE INSPECTED AT MY LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP AS REQUESTED BY GM'S RECALL DEPARTMENT. I HAVE EXPLAINED MY SITUATION TOO MANY TIMES TO THEM, THIS …

"service side detection system" and "park assist unavailable", are errors due to water intrusion to proximity sensors. In addition sensor modules are physically bulging and there was some corrosion on my passenger side harness connector and visible rust inside both modules' connectors. Errors are starting to affect other electrical system components and other errors are showing up like various electrical glitches like a pausing turn signal among other issues.
