2022 VOLKSWAGEN TAOS SEL. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO POWERTRAIN ISSUES. THE CONSUMER STATED THE POWER TRAIN HAD A VIOLENT JERK. THE JERK CAN CAUSE THE VEHICLE'S OCCUPANTS HEAD TO SLAM AGAINST THE HEADRESTS. WHILE DRIVING THE DASHBOARD'S WILL INDEPENDLY SWITCH BETWEEN SCEENS. THE DRIVER WOULD BE UNABLE TO USE THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS, THE SOFTWARE WIPED OUT THE 1/4 OF THE DASHBOARD'S CRITICAL DRVING DATA, THE DISPLAY WOULD FREEZE OR REBOOT WHILE DRIVING. This car has a dangerous delayed acceleration problem. While making a left hand turn the car DID NOT apply the correct amount of acceleration proportional to the pressure applied to the gas pedal. It got to the point where I was basically flooring the gas pedal AND THE CAR DID NOT CHANGE SPEED! Because the car would not accelerate I almost got hit. The contact owns a 2022 Volkswagen Taos. The contact stated while driving approximately 70 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the power steering and power brake failed. The contact stated that the "check engine" and "Electronic Stability Protection" warning lights were illuminated. The contact was able to safely coast to the left and onto the highway median. Both front axles were defective. They were just replaced by Nalley after Autonation told me for 8 straight months nothing was wrong with my car. My Taos made a loud knocking sound, steering wheel vibration and I almost lost control of it on the highway.

UNKNOWN The vehicle lost all functionality and did not respond to any commands/requests made by the driver until railroad tracks caused the vehicle to stop and all side airbags to deploy. My girlfriend and myself were at fear for our lives as google maps was attempting to take us unto a bridge when the vehicle became unresponsive while driving.
