The vehicle drives well and the problems surface without any prior indication or warning. The PROBLEM: while driving the vehicle slows down to about 10-15 mph. when I try to press the gas pedal, the vehicle does not increase speed. In addition there is a loud sound coming from the engine. also, there is a grating/vibration as if one drives on a gravel road. The service light shows up in red, and the "+" sign next to "D" shows red: I use the "D" to drive and not the overdrive. The gear lever does not release as it is stuck. My wife and I feel ve…

I was driving down the interstate on 6/24/2022 with ACC turned on and was in traffic. The semi truck in front of me came to a complete stop, but my VW Taos did not stop or slow down, so I had to intervene in order to prevent an accident. After I came to a complete stop, my vehicle started beeping, flashing errors on the dashboard for every safety system on my car including the Airbags, Traction Control, Anti-lock Brakes, all Safety Sensors, Cruise Control, and something called Brake Booster. It stayed like this for about 10 minutes. After movin…
