BOLT THAT ATTACHES THE RIGHT SIDE PUSHROD HAS LOST THE NUT AND THE BOLT IS REMOVING ITSELF FROM THE UPPER CONTROL ARM. THIS PUSHROD KEEPS TENSION ON THE SHOCK ABSORBER AND THE SPRING. WHEN THE BOLT IS GONE, THE SUSPENSION WILL PARTIALLY COLLAPSE. THIS WILL RESULT IN A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. THE BOLT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO BEGIN WITH. THE THREADS OF THE BOLT DO NOT LOCK TO THE ELASTIC NUT---SIMILAR TO AN AN364. A MINIMUM OF 1.5/2 THREADS SHOULD BE PROTRUDING OUT OF THE NUT. The contact owns a 2019 Vanderhall Motor Works Venice Speedster Autocycle. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph, the front windshield cracked at the mounting point and the crack expanded outward approximately twelve inches. During the incident, no object had made contact with the windshield to cause the failure. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 1,700.
