Owner report 11523906 · 2023-05-25 (May 25, 2023)
purchased this vehicle new 4/3/23.specidically purchased this truck for towing as it has the built intergated goose neck for a 5th wheel attachment. recently attempted to put the fifth wheel in to tow our camp trailer, it would not drop down far enough and lock on place on the truck, contacted the dealer and as well took the truck to 4 different businesses that specialize in hitches, only to advised by everyone that there is a factory defect in the trucks system with it being installed too high when holes were drilled thru the frame, the truck…

Owner report 11539769 · 2023-08-21 (August 21, 2023)
I currently have a 2023 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4WD that intermittently when slowing to a stop between the speeds of 0-7mph it will, at times, feel as though the transmission is dropping from 3rd gear to 1st gear without cycling into 2nd gear properly creating almost a bumping effect to where it feels like you are almost being bumped from behind. Like being rear-ended at a very slow speed. There is a difference in slowing to a stop and it cycles properly which this truck will do the majority of the time and then when it does this hard skipping of …

Owner report 11579422 · 2024-03-26 (March 26, 2024)
The truck was parked on hill and as I unlocked it, it rolled down 2 blocks. Hit a brick wall and finally went into a yard and hit a parked car. This is the second time this truck has rolled down. First time, I was able to catch it but this time I couldn’t. It was horrific to witness.

Owner report 11617844 · 2024-10-03 (October 3, 2024)
Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4WD was bought new from dealership. Have had issues with the truck downshifting hard when slowing down since purchase. The truck lurches forward under 5MPH - 10MPH and feels like you are being rearended by another vehicle. Identical issue to NHTSA complaints 11578467 and 11539769. Have voiced my concerns to the Nissan dealership I have maintenance completed at. They cannot recreate the problem or diagnosis the issue. They cited it may be a software issue. Have voiced concerns and continued issue with every standardize…

Owner report 11627194 · 2024-11-25 (November 25, 2024)
Transmission shifting is abrasive particularly when coming to a stop. Vehicle lurches forward when transmission shifts from 2nd to 1st. Loss of control imminent when traveling on slick surfaces. I have brought this to the attention of my local dealership and was told there are no warning lights illuminated so the transmission is working correctly. They also stated that this is a common complaint with no remedy?

Owner report 11651031 · 2025-03-27 (March 27, 2025)
While in PARK, my 2023 Nissan Titan inexplicably started rolling away as I was getting my mail from my mailbox. It traveled down my driveway, over a railroad tie border, deflected off of a tree, and eventually came to a stop when it became wedged under a pine tree. The wheels were turning. The vehicle was not sliding. There was snow and I recorded the impressions of the tire tread in the snow. Furthermore, when I got into the vehicle to back it out, the vehicle's shifter was still in PARK. I put it in reverse, backed it out from under t…
