I JUST PURCHASED A NEW 2019 NV. THE AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT COOL PROPERLY. EVEN WITH THE LOWEST SETTING THE FRONT VENTS BLOW WARM AIR. AT TIMES SOME VENTS WILL GET COOLER BUT THE 4 VENTS IN THE FRONT DO NOT ALL BLOW COOL AIR, USUALLY 2 COOL, 2 WARM. THERE IS A SEPARATE CONTROL FOR THE REAR COOL/HEAT. THE HEAT IN THE BOTTOM SEEMS TO WORK WELL BUT THE ABOVE COOL DOESN'T. MY POOR CHILDREN IN THE BACK ARE OFTEN RED FACED AND OVERHEATED WHICH SCARES ME. I'VE TAKEN IT IN AS IT'S BRAND NEW AND THEY SAY THAT THERE ISN'T ANYTHING WRONG...IT JUST WORK…

IN APRIL OF 2020 WE STARTED HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES- THE BLINKERS WERE GOING CRAZY, HEADLIGHTS WOULD NOT TURN OFF, A STRANGE SMELL EMITTING FROM THE AIR VENTS, ETC SO WE DECIDED TO BRING IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO BE EVALUATED AS WE HAD JUST AT 600 MILES ON IT. IT WAS FOUND TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE COMPUTER MODULE AND AFTER BEING REPAIRED WAS GIVEN BACK. FAST FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER 6 AT 3,202 MILES WE NOTICED THE SAME SMELL AND THE BLINKERS WERE GOING VERY FAST AGAIN SO WE HEADED HOME AND ONCE AGAIN CALLED OUR DEALERSHIP. SHORTLY AFTER GETTING …

Owner report 11530246 · 2023-07-03 (July 3, 2023)
I was on my way back from Michigan, heading toward Utah, and around Chicago the transmission started giving me issues. I was informed by a transmission company that I would be able to make it out to Utah, but we only made it to South Dakota and the transmission was blown. I had to pay $500 in towing to a transmission shop. The transmission shop informed me that the transmission is in fact blown and it will cost $6400 to replace. I also had a quote from a Nissan dealership for around $6600. The car has under 37,000 miles but is out of warranty b…

Owner report 11708988 · 2026-01-05 (January 5, 2026)
I was driving 75MPH down the interstate when out of nowhere my engine started acting funny. It started to slow down and then the check engine light came on. As we were exiting the engine started stuttering. We were able to get it to a gas station. It was towed to a mechanic where they found that there were multiple cylinder misfires. They also found a hole in the cylinder head/valve cover. With the vehicle slowing down on its own it could've caused a wreck. The stuttering on the offramp put my family at risk of being hit while trying to turn o…

Owner report 11745680 · 2026-06-22 (June 22, 2026)
While driving the vehicle on the highway it suddenly it made a ticking noise and would not go more than 40 miles per hour. We limped into a repair shop. The upper catalyst crumbled and was sucked into the lower catalyst causing total failure. The vehicle was completely incapacitated on the roadway. This is all available for inspection. The vehicle has less than 7,000 miles on it when it failed. It left a group stranded and had to be pushed off the road. The problem was confirmed at a dealership with a quoted price of $26,000 to replace th…

19V654000 · Back Over Prevention: Sensing System: Camera
Reported: 2019-09-12 (September 12, 2019)
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima, Armada, Frontier, Kicks, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, NV, NV200, Pathfinder, Rogue, Rogue Sport, Sentra, Titan, Titan Diesel, Versa Note and Versa Sedan vehicles, as well as Infiniti Q50, Q60, QX30 and QX80 vehicles. Additionally included are 2019 Nissan GT-R and Taxi and Infiniti QX50, QX60, Q70, Q70L vehicles. The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence: The lack of an image in the back-up camera display increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Nissan will notify owners in phases, having dealers update the back-up camera settings software, free of charge. The recall began November 11, 2019 and all affected VINs should be activated. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or INFINITI customer service at 1-800-662-6200.
