The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Key Fob is way too sensitive! Unlock doors, lift gate, and windows when it’s placed in front pants pockets. Key must be placed in your shirt or upper jacket pockets to avoid vehicle being unlocked and stolen! Lift gate and will could open causing damage to garage door or hitting walls depending on your parking structure. It’s a concern when parking at shopping centers. Vehicle may unlock if key fob is placed in front pants pockets!

Foul odor coming from AC vents. My 2023 GLE350W has less than 12k miles on it. Needed BIO pledge service, cabin filter and dust filter. Odor was making passengers in the vehicle ill. I had to pay $412 which should have been deemed a RECALL as earlier models have had covered/reimbursed. Mercedes Dealership confirmed issue and preformed repair.

The contact owns a 2023 Mercedes Benz GLE 350. The contact stated while coming off the highway at 15-20 MPH, she made a left into her community. The brake stopped to the floor and the seat belt restrained her without cause. This car rear-ended another car while slowing down and preparing to stop at a red light. The Automatic Emergency Brake system failed to provide any alert whatsoever, no warning lamps, no audible alerts, no warning messages, nothing. I have been getting Battery Monitor - Charge status very low warnings for the past month and they occur at any moment, including while driving the car. The warning then states for me to stop and pull the car over so it can charge up. MESSAGE: 12V Battery The battery's state of charge is very low. My instrument cluster has gone black twice. Meaning I have no speedometer, gas gauge, etc. My blind spot monitoring, front parking, and other safety features do not work when this happens. It stays this way for several hours and then displays again, usually overnight. Mercedes has denied the issue, despite me providing a video of the malfunction while driving. They have had my car for 25 days and provided no resolution, claiming there is no issue. MBUSA has not responded to my inquiry/complaint.

The vehicle, while on (P)ark, will move forward on its own. The vehicle will move either millimiters at a time or up to a quarter inch in a single incident. These incidents are continuous in nature and can be duplicated by simply putting the vehicle in Park after driving it shortly after start. The vehicle has been taken in several times to the dealership, where the Service Director has claimed that they cannot replicate the issue. Reported: 2023-03-17 (March 17, 2023)
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022-2023 GLE350, GLE450, GLE580, GLS450, GLS580, Maybach GLS600, AMG GLE53, AMG GLE63 S, and AMG GLS63 vehicles. The rear door window trim bars may detach from the vehicle while driving.
Consequence: Detached trim bars may cause a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and secure the rear window trim bars, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 5, 2023. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. This recall is an expansion of previous recall number 22V-680. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2023040011.

Reported: 2023-12-21 (December 21, 2023)
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021-2024 GLE, GLS, C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, SL, GLC, CLS, AMG GT, and G-Class vehicles. Please refer to MBUSA's recall report for specific vehicle details. The fuel pump may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power.
Consequence: A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 28, 2024. Owner notification letters will be mailed in phases, on February 23, 2024, April 19, 2024, June 28, 2024, August 9, 2024, October 1, 2024, and December 2, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall number 23V-445.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2023-2024 GLE 350, 2020-2024 GLE 450, 2020-2023 GLS 580, GLE 580, 2019-2023 GLS 450, 2021-2023 Maybach GLS 600, AMG GLS 63, 2021-2024 AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 53 Coupe, and AMG GLE 63 S vehicles. A 48-Volt ground connection under the passenger seat may not be secured properly, resulting in the ground connection overheating.
Consequence: An overheated ground connection can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the 48-Volt ground connection as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 3, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2024040002.
