TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP RENEGADE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO RESTART THE VEHICLE WHICH FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO 495 CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM LOCATED AT (732 ROGERS ST, LOWELL, MA 01852) TO BE DIAGNOSED. I WAS DRIVING ON I95N TOWARDS RICHMOND VA. THE LIGHTS ON DASHBOARD ILLUMINATED TELLING ME MY TIRE PRESSURE WAS LOW. I PULLED OVER AND CHECKED MY TIRE AND IT WAS FLAT. THERE WAS NO NAILS. THE TIRE IS A DEFECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER. I HAVE ENCLOSED PICTURES OF THE BRAND. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES THE TIRE THREAD IS NOT FROM WEAR AND TARE. I STILL HAVE THE TIRE IN MY BACK SEAT. I CALLED A TOW TRUCK. PURCHASED A USED TIRE. I WILL BE CALLING THE MANUFACTURER ON MONDAY JULY 14. I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY AND IN MOTION WHEN THIS HAPPENED.

MY CAR WENT COMPLETELY LIMP ALL THE WARNINGS LIGHTS ON MY DASH CAME ON BUT MY CAR WAS DISABLED UNTIL I TURNED CAR OFF THEN RESTARTED IT . I TOOK IT TO A JEEP PLACE AND THEY SAID IT WAS GOING TO TAKE A NEW GAS PEDAL AND SENSOR ALSO A CANASTER AND GAS PRESSURE SENSOR . WHICH THEY TOLD ME THE COST WOULD BE 1500 WITH COVID 19 GOING ON I'VE BEEN OUT OF WORK AND I CAN'T AFFORD THAT BUT WITH A BRAND NEW CAR I SHOULD NOT BE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR

19V287000 · Air Bags: Air Bag/Restraint Control Module | Electrical System:Software
Reported: 2019-04-10 (April 10, 2019)
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Jeep Renegade and Fiat 500X vehicles. Incorrect software may cause the occupant restraint controller (ORC) module to disable certain passive safety features.
Consequence: Deactivated passive safety features can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will update the ORC module software, free of charge. The recall began May 2, 2019. Owners may contact Chrysler's customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is V42.

Reported: 2019-06-11 (June 11, 2019)
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Jeep Renegade vehicles equipped with the Upland trim package. The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) may have been incorrectly calibrated.
Consequence: The miscalibrated ORC may incorrectly deploy the air bags during a frontal crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ORC. The recall began September 24, 2019. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is V73.

Reported: 2020-09-10 (September 10, 2020)
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Cherokee, 2019-2020 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Renegade and 2019 Dodge Challenger vehicles equipped with 8.4" or 12" radio displays. A software error can cause the rearview camera image to remain displayed after the vehicle has been shifted out of reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rearview Mirrors."
Consequence: The lingering rearview image can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Chrysler has notified owners, and dealers will update the radio display software, free of charge. Optionally, owners can choose to remotely update their software via an Over-The-Air (OTA) update available as of May 1, 2020. The recall began April 27, 2020. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is W30-W37.

Reported: 2024-07-03 (July 3, 2024)
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia, 2018-2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, 2019-2023 Fiat 500X, Jeep Renegade, and 2024 Fiat 500E vehicles. A seat belt buckle switch sensor may be improperly connected, preventing the front seat air bag from deploying as intended.
Consequence: A front seat air bag that does not deploy as intended can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will repair the connection, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning August 27, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 82B.
