I GET DISTORTIVE IMAGES AND INTENSE GLARES FROM HEADLIGHTS OF CARS BEHIND ME, AND COMING TOWARDS ME WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. THESE IMAGES ARE VERTICAL BEAMS OF LIGHT WITH HORIZONTAL LINES AND SHOOT TOWARDS THE SKY. EVERY CAR BEHIND YOU WILL REFLECT TWO BEAMS WITH THE LINES, AND IF THERE ARE SEVERAL CARS BEHIND YOU IT BECOMES MORE PRONOUNCED, LIKE A SEA OF VERTICAL BEAMS WITH GLARING LIGHTS. I ALSO GET INTENSE GLARES OF LIGHTS FROM HEADLIGHTS BEHIND ME AND COMING TOWARDS ME. IT FEELS LIKE EVERY CAR BEHIND OR COMING TOWARDS ME HAVE THEIR HIGH B…

I JUST LEARNED THIS WEEK THAT MY INFINITI Q50 HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO BE ONE OF THE THREE VEHICLES MOST VULNERABLE TO AUTOMATED HACKING, ALONG WITH THE JEEP CHEROKEE AND THE CADILLAC ESCALADE. CONSEQUENTLY, CHRYSLER RECALLED 1/4 MILLION JEEP CHEROKEES IN ORDER TO PATCH THEIR SOFTWARE TO PREVENT HACKERS FROM TAKING REMOTE CONTROL OF THESE VEHICLES. I ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT INFINITI AND THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE IS EVEN A PROBLEM, LET ALONE THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON A PATCH OF THEIR OWN. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE NHTSA IS GOING TO DO ABOUT …

RECENTLY I WAS SITTING AT A STOPLIGHT ABOUT 3RD IN LINE BEHIND A FORD EXPLORER. I LIVE IN ATLANTA SO STOPLIGHTS ARE EXTRAORDINARILY LONG. I HAD THE CAR IN DRIVE OBVIOUSLY AND MY FOOT FIRMLY ON THE BRAKE. ABOUT 5 MINUTES INTO THE RED LIGHT MY CAR STARTS TO SLOWLY MOVE FORWARD WHILE MY FOOT WAS STILL FIRMLY ON THE BRAKE. THE MOVEMENT WAS SIMILAR TO IF THE BRAKE HAD BEEN RELEASED AND THE CAR WAS COASTING IN DRIVE. FORTUNATELY I LEFT SOME DISTANCE BETWEEN MYSELF AND THE EXPLORER IN FRONT OF ME, BUT OBVIOUSLY A MOMENT OF PANIC COMES OVER ME WHEN MY …

HI, I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE AT 7/31/2015. IT'S A BRAND NEW Q50 2015 PREMIUM. I MET TWO ISSUES ABOUT IT: 1. IT'S PASSENGER AIR BAG. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG STATUS LIGHT IS ON WITH AN ADULT OCCUPYING THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT FOR THE FIRST A FEW MINUTES, SOMETIMES IS 2 MINS, SOMETIMES IS EVEN 5 MINS, BUT IT SUPPOSED TO BE OFF AFTER 7 SECONDS. I'M WORRIED ABOUT THE MY SAFETY IN THAT PERIOD. 2. THE SEAT BELT ISSUE. ONCE I WAS SITTING ON THE PASSENGER SEAT, I DIDN'T BUCKLE UP YET, BUT THE SEAT BELT STATUS LIGHTS WAS NOT ILLUMINATED. YESTERDAY, MY BOYF…

THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY PULLS VERY HARD TO THE RIGHT REQUIRING FORCE TO KEEP IN A STRAIGHT LINE. THE VEHICLE DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANY ALIGNMENT ALTERING POTHOLES OR ROAD BUMPS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SOFTWARE MALFUNCTION WITH THE DAS. I AM VERY LUCKY THIS OCCURRED AT LOW SPEED AND WITHOUT MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR.

ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WHILE IN MOTION AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE VEHICLE WILL AUDIBLY ALERT, BRAKE, STEER, AND DEADEN THROTTLE RESPONSE. THESE ARE RELATED TO ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES OF THE VEHICLE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THESE OCCUR WHEN THERE IS NOTHING TO AVOID OR ANY DANGER PRESENT. THESE HAVE OCCURRED AT HIGH SPEEDS AND IN SITUATIONS WHERE THEY COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP BLAMED ALL ISSUES ON THE PLACEMENT OF AN EZ PASS TRANSPONDER. I FIND THIS TO BE COMPLETELY ABSURD. INFINITI CUSTOMER CARE WILL NOT ASSIST. I HAVE DI…

Reported: 2016-04-26 (April 26, 2016)
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Nissan Maxima, 2013-2016 Nissan Altima, NV200, LEAF, Sentra, and Pathfinder, 2014-2016 Nissan NV200 Taxi, Infiniti QX60, QX60 Hybrid, and Q50 Hybrid, 2014-2017 Nissan Rogue and Infiniti Q50, 2015-2016 Nissan Murano, Murano Hybrid, and Chevrolet City Express, 2014-2015 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, and 2013 Infiniti JX35 vehicles. Remedy: Nissan will notify their owners. Chevrolet City Express owners will be notified by General Motors. Dealers will reprogram the Air Bag Control Unit (ACU) and OCS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in Altima, Maxima, Murano, Rogue, and Sentra vehicles, and replace the OCS ECU in LEAF, NV200, NV200 Taxi, Pathfinder, Infiniti Q50, JX35, and QX60 and Chevrolet City Express vehicles, free of charge. Interim notices were sent to owners on May 31, 2016. Owners will receive a second notice when remedy parts become available.
