Owner report 11481458 · 2022-08-26 (August 26, 2022)
Multiple instance of the car providing "BRAKE" annunciation, rapid deceleration, and brake application at highway speeds when passing vehicles. Often happens when passing semi trucks, but not limited to them. Several instances this rapid and unexpected brake application has required driver action to avoid rear-end collisions with the car behind who may be following too closely. Unable to completely turn off the CMBS system, must be done per drive. With that system turned off the braking application is expectedly absent during these events, but …

Owner report 11495850 · 2022-12-02 (December 2, 2022)
The stationary window on the back passenger side shattered while the car was parked in the driveway on a very hot day. There did not appear to be any single point of contact. The glass was uniformly shattered. First off, I took the car to the dealer and they didnt even bother to look at it and said I would have to file a claim with Honda which I did. Then the dealer said the window must have been struck by a rock by looking at a few pictures that I submitted and Honda customer representative ghosted me and wouldn’t answer when I called or return…

The Honda is equipped with a Collision Mitigation Braking System. Traveling at around 40 mph on a two lane road, one lane in each opposite direction, the orange brake warning light appeared on the dash. Simultaneously, the brakes were very forcefully applied as if there was going to be an unavoidable collision. There was nothing in front of the vehicle. I called the dealer where we purchased the Honda. The service rep said he had heard of other similar instances, asked what kind of road it was and said to see if it happened again on the s…
