Owner report 11455742 · 2022-03-08 (March 8, 2022)
The heads up display starting with the 2022 model removed the colored lane departure warning from the sides of the road graphic that is in line with the road and moved it to a very small display to the left side of the driver's field of view. Now to see the lane departure warning requires a shift of the driver's view to the left and a head tilt if wearing progression bifocals. On prior year models the colored warning provided an early alert well before the seat vibrates as the warning. Taking my vision off the road caused me to come up on a …

Owner report 11474881 · 2022-07-20 (July 20, 2022)
July 5, 2022. Engine Lifter Failure. While driving my new 2022 Yukon Denali (with only 14,400 miles on it), I made a right hand turn into a parking lot. The engine just shut off. No warning lights ever came on. The only thing I had noticed was some unknown noise when I started up the truck and getting underway. The sound promptly went away. I attempted to restart the engine but it would not even turn over. My vehicle was blocking the driveway to the parking lot, creating a traffic hazard on a major street. I had the vehicle towed to a GM deal…

On September 9th at approximately 5:00 pm, my wife and I left Augusta and headed to Atlanta to attend an event. While driving highway speeds of about 70-80mph, the vehicle began to decelerate rapidly and then shifted itself into neutral gear. Unable to shift back into drive, I was forced to maneuver my slowing vehicle onto the shoulder of the highway, placing myself and my wife in danger of colliding with the other vehicles who were still travelling at highway speeds. After pulling over onto the shoulder, I was able to shift the vehicle into pa…
