TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC SAVANA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE PRESENCE MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE. UPDATED 09/28/16*LJ *TR

I WOULD LIKE TO REPORT A DEFECT WITH THE DASHBOARD. IT HAS TWO CRACKS THAT MAY RESULT IN A SAFETY ISSUE IF THE AIRBAGS ARE DEPLOYED. I BELIEVE THAT THE CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE MAY HAVE CAUSED THE CRACKS. I HAVE NOT INCLUDED A PHOTO AT THIS TIME BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE THOUSANDS ON RECORD.
