TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD E-450. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE "SERVICE VEHICLE" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (MORRIS BUFFALO FORD, 702 E. HIGHWAY 55, BUFFALO MN) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH CYLINDER WELL INSIDE THE TRANMISSION HAD CRACKED AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REBUILT. THIS IS A SCHOOL BUS. WHEN STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN THE SCHOOL BUS WOULD NOT ENGAGE IN ANY GEAR, FORWARD OR REVERSE. THE SCHOOL BUS HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY FOUND THAT THE COAST CLUTCH DRUM, RETURN SPRING, PISTON AND ONE WAY CLUTCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS THE 4TH SCHOOL BUS WE HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE WITH.

THE TIRE THREAD SHREDDED OFF OF BOTH SIDES OF THE WHEEL WHILE DRIVING, DAMAGING MUD FLAPS, ETC. 2015 JAYCO GREYHAWK RV (FORD 450 CHASIS). MILEAGE WAS ONLY 25000 MILES. OTHER TIRES APPEAR TO ALREAY DISPLAY SOFT SPOTS AND CRACKING - ESPECIALLY NEAR THE THREAD, VEHICLE IS GARAGE WHEN NOT IN USE.

The contact rented a 2015 Ford E-450. The contact stated that while driving, the vehicle was shaking in the rear. The contact had to maintain an approximate speed of 40 MPH to control the vehicle. The fuel warning light was illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact stated that the rear wheels were cracked. The contact was concerned about driving the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 80,329.

19V313000 · Seats
Reported: 2019-04-18 (April 18, 2019)
Mobility Transportation Services (MobilityTrans) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Ford Transit and Ram Promaster vehicles and 2014-2015 Ford Econoline vehicles modified to be equipped with Freedman GO-ES Foldaway Seats, part numbers 43705, 45467, 48923, and 75719. When the back seat cushion is rotated from the stowed position to the upright position, the seat cushion may not remain locked into place when under load, such as in a crash or a sudden stop.
Consequence: In the event of a crash, if the seat back moves, the seat occupant has an increased risk of injury.
Remedy: MobilityTrans will notify owners and Freedman Seating dealers will inspect and repair the foldaway seat, free of charge. The recall began May 19, 2019. Owners may contact Mobility Transportation Services customer service at 1-734-453-6452.
