The motorized doors have no apparent safety features and will allow them to fully open and close even when obstructed. The rear hatch takes my full 200lbs body weight to stop from fully opening. It will lift the garage door and there is no safety mechanism to stop it from damaging the car door or the garage door. When closing it will not stop untilI use all my strength for about 20 seconds when it finally gives up. The open/close button simply reverses the direction.
