when driving radio and display will freeze up. sometimes screen will black out other times screen will just freeze where ever i had it last. when problem happens i am unable to turn radio down or off. back up camera will freeze with no directional lines. I have the advanced trailering package and if this happens i will not be able to see behind trailer. I have had several dealers look at problem and there is several bulletins for most radios but my radio which is a IOR code says there is no fix

The tailgate-ajar warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the step actuator due to water damage. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 41,000.

1.THE INSTRUMENT PANEL EMERGENCY LIGHTS ARE NOT OPERATING . THE MANUFACTOR FAIL TO DO FINAL INSPECTION. THE EMERGENCY HARNESS WAS NOT INSTALL. THE INSTRUMENT LIGHTS WERE NOT OPERATING. 2. THE TRUCK AUTOMATIC STEPS LIGHTS DON'T COME ALL THE TIME. THE PASSENGERS ARE UNABLE SEE DURING DARKNESS. THEY LOSS THERE FOOTING AND FELL ON THE ASPHALT. THE AUTOMATIC STEPS ARE COLOR BLACK ARE TO SEE DURING THE NIGHT. THE STEPS SHOULD BE COLOR FLUORESCENT WHITE. THE VEHICLE MILEAGE IS ONLY 1224 MILES.

Vehicle was towing Horse Trailer. Gave an indication message to check trailer break wiring. I did so and all was working fine. I loaded my horses and pulled out onto the road. Traveling 10 mph the truck completely shut off, no brakes, No warning, I helplessly rolled to a stop. The truck then turned on electrically, but did not start the engine completely by itself. 24V060000 · Latches/Locks/Linkages:Tailgate:Latch
Reported: 2024-02-01 (February 1, 2024)
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 vehicles equipped with power-unlatching tailgates. The tailgate's electronic gate-release switch may short circuit due to water intrusion, which can result in the tailgate inadvertently unlatching while the vehicle is in park.
Consequence: An unlatched tailgate may open while driving and result in a loss of unsecured cargo, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Owners are advised to check that the tailgate is closed and latched before driving. Dealers will replace the exterior touchpad switch assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N232426400.
