Owner report 11620912 · 2024-10-20 (October 20, 2024)
Traveling 70mph on parkway, out of nowhere, the RPM start revving like the transmission had shifted into neutral, but it is still in Drive. Managed to get off at next exit allowing the Truck to coast. At stop sign, the Truck slams into first, slams into second, reaches 30mph and begins to do same problem and RPM’s rev like in neutral. Can not get the truck to go over 30mph of change any more gears. We did manage to take a 15 min ride to nearby Chevy Dealer. Dealer has confirmed no codes or check engine lights. After 1 full week in, no further …

Owner report 11614317 · 2024-09-12 (September 12, 2024)
The vehicle mileage is 1,886. The vehicle steering command left or right turns had beautiful chime sound. The dealership could not find the signal chime commands. They claim that this vehicle doesn't have chime when turning right or left. This high-end truck has a lot features that dealership don't know about. This vehicle mileage is very good on the highway 22.4 miles per gallon.

The car pulls to the left while driving. The steering wheel turned to the left when I stopped. I have taken it to the dealer three times but the problem is not resolved.

Owner report 11591954 · 2024-06-01 (June 1, 2024)
Vehicle was towing Horse Trailer. Gave an indication message to check trailer break wiring. I did so and all was working fine. I loaded my horses and pulled out onto the road. Traveling 10 mph the truck completely shut off, no brakes, No warning, I helplessly rolled to a stop. The truck then turned on electrically, but did not start the engine completely by itself. Two minutes later, the truck turned itself off electrically. The motor was never running. I had it towed to a dealership in which it took them five days to repair. The truck …

Owner report 11721726 · 2026-03-03 (March 3, 2026)
When putting vehicle in park, I get a message on dash that says "shift to park" when the vehicle is already in park. The vehicle electrical components does not turn off. Sometimes if I wiggle/hit or stick my hand under the steering wheel adjustment lever I can get it to turn off. Becoming more troublesome. Through research I see it is a common issue among GM/Chevy vehicles.

Owner report 11671999 · 2025-07-08 (July 8, 2025)
Sudden jerk power train and deceleration while driving and towing 5th wheel, immediate loss of power and could have been catastrophic. GM has a known defect that requires immediate attention and investigation to affirm this is a broad national problem with the Allison 10 speed 10L1000 transmission, specifically the defective transmission control valve body assembly. Do we have to wait for multiple family members to be killed or seriously injured due to this known defect? Time for action and resolution. My local dealer tells me this is bigge…

Owner report 11758375 · 2026-08-20 (August 20, 2026)
I am filing this complaint regarding my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, which has approximately 20,000 miles and has been babied since new. The truck is maintained meticulously and the undercarriage is washed weekly. The brake failures I have experienced are completely unacceptable for a truck with this mileage and maintenance history. Both the FRONT and REAR brake friction material has completely DELAMINATED from the brake components. This is not normal brake wear. The material has separated from the underlying metal, which I believe is a se…

Owner report 11724120 · 2026-03-13 (March 13, 2026)
On February 3, 2026, my vehicle was taken to Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Buford for diagnosis of a fuel system failure. The dealership charged a $235 diagnostic fee and concluded that the failure was caused by fuel contamination from an outside source. Based on this determination, my warranty claim with General Motors was denied and my case (#89096714) was closed. After this determination, the vehicle was transported to an independent diesel repair shop for further inspection. During the initial inspection, the technician removed the intake cov…

Owner report 11727327 · 2026-03-26 (March 26, 2026)
The high pressure fuel pump “grenaded” while driving on the interstate. Caused an immediate shutdown and barely got off the main lane to the shoulder in extremely heavy traffic putting me, my wife and others in imminent danger. The components were inspected by the dealer mechanic and insurance adjuster and they said that is what happened and that there was no reason for it to have happened. A warning of reduced power appeared about 3 seconds before the truck completely shutdown.
