Owner report 11456587 · 2022-03-14 (March 14, 2022)

I have two GM vehicles. 1) 2022 GMC Sierra Denali 4x4; 6.2 V8 and 2) 2022 Chevy Silverado High Country; 6.2 V8 as well. My Chevy is producing a mysterious black substance, whereas the Sierra does not. I am being told that this behavior is normal. I would expect the same behavior from both vehicles, but that is not the case.

Owner report 11461116 · 2022-04-18 (April 18, 2022)

Since new delivery, transmission appears to slip into neutral when vehicle is first started and accelerated forward. Was advised by Chevrolet service that this is a known issue, and that GM is aware of the issue, but nothing can be done about it. Other than annoying, if a quicker move forward is required, the vehicle accelerates in neutral then grabs, causing the vehicle to slip on wet pavement, which could lead to a loss of control.

Reported: 2022-06-30 (June 30, 2022)

General Motors (GM) has decided that certain 2022 model year Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra vehicles equipped with an accessory sport bar.
