MOISTURE CAME THROUGH THE VENTS IN THE DASHBOARD ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE RADIO, SO MUCH THAT CONSUMER'S HANDS GOT WET IF HE TOUCHED IT. CONSUMER HAD BEEN HOSPITALIZED DUE TO THE FUNGUS, OR MOLD THAT GREW FROM THIS MOISTURE. TOOK VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THEY CUT A HOLE IN THE AIR HOUSING AND POURED A CHEMICAL INSIDE TO KILL THE FUNGUS. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK

THE VEHICLE HAD NO SOPPING POWER AND THE CONSUMER HAD TO STAND ON THE BRAKES TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP. DT: VENTURE VAN. ON THE FIRST DAY OWNING THE VEHICLE WINDSHIELD MADE A LOUD WHISTLING SOUND AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE DEALER HAS HAD IT 4 TIMES, AND REPLACED THE SEALING MATERIAL, BUT IT STILL WHISTLES. IT IS LOOSE, AND A SAFETY HAZARD. THE SERVICE MANAGER SAYS THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG IN THE EPOXY SEALANT THAT WAS INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. SOME SEALANT WAS ADDED TO THE CENTER TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD, BUT IT STILL WHISTLES. ON THE 27TH, AFTER THE NEW WINDSHIELD AND SEALANT WAS ADDED THE WINDSHIELD BLEW OUT AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.*AK
