The curtain airbags deployed at slow speed going over a speed bump. It shut off and would not start again. ONSTAR said it had been in an accident but it had not. The vehicle is at the dealership waiting on General Motors to do an inspection. There were no warnings or messages until it shut off.

Vehicle has only 1650 miles on it. It is driven conservatively especially so during the first 1000 miles of use “break in period”. Was leaving our neighborhood and the vehicle was searching for a gear, revving and jerking. Check Engine light came on. Limped the vehicle slowly back home and contacted dealer. Had vehicle towed to dealer and they diagnosed the issue as a faulty valve body. Part is on national backorder.

On the evening of [XXX], I was making a left hand turn onto [XXX] from [XXX]. I was the second car in line on the left turn green arrow. The first car went to the right lane. I went into the left lane. My car immediately flashed the light in the front window, the alarm went off, and slammed the brakes as if something was in front of me. Breaking system not properly working . The car is brand new and the issue is going on for 2 months. Chevy dealer want to have the car for 7days but they don’t want to provide loaner or a rental. This is a dangerous issue and dealer seems to don’t care!

I was driving down the highway at 70mph using the adaptive cruise control. There was nobody in front of me, and suddenly the vehicle started picking up speed. I looked at the cruise control and it said 115mph, so I hit the brakes to override it and slow down. when I reset it for , ~70mph again it worked fine. This happened to me two other times with the same basic scenario. The speed is always over 100mph, and it always occurs when the adaptive cruise control has been in use for at least 30 minutes. The contact's daughter rented a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, after driving over a small imperfection in the roadway, there was an abnormal scraping sound coming from underneath the vehicle. Reported: 2023-12-21 (December 21, 2023)
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Blazer, Blazer EV, Equinox, and GMC Terrain vehicles. The door strikers may fracture, resulting in the door opening unexpectedly.
Consequence: A door opening while the vehicle is being driven can increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace all four door strikers and attaching bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 24, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N232429911.
