On the evening of [XXX], I was making a left hand turn onto [XXX] from [XXX]. I was the second car in line on the left turn green arrow. The first car went to the right lane. I went into the left lane. My car immediately flashed the light in the front window, the alarm went off, and slammed the brakes as if something was in front of me. Purchased a brand new 2024 Blazer on [XXX] - 11 miles on the vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas, TX. Transmission failed at 1150 miles in Galveston, TX on [XXX]. According to the Galveston Dealership an extensive transmission repair was performed on the vehicle at 6 miles. According to the GM rep I spoke with, that maintenance was performed as a Service Bulletin Recall. Car was transported to Dallas by GM. Parts are on back order. No ETA for resolution. On 10/29/25 I brought the vehicle in to Richard Lucas Chevrolet due to the alert from my insurance co that there was a recall with parking brake system. The dealership checked the car and told me they had to order the part that was needed due to the recall. Prior I also made the dealer aware that the car had recently stalled on me in the middle of the street, I was told by the dealership that this was apart of the recall! The dealership allowed me to drive the car and stated to me that they would call me when the part comes in! 2 days later on …
