TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TRAVEL SUPREME MOTOR HOME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A MECHANIC ADVISED THAT THE PARKING BRAKES WERE WIRED INCORRECTLY AND THE AIR TANKS NEED TO BE REPLACED. THERE WERE SEVERAL OTHER REPAIRS NEEDED SUCH AS DUMP VALVES, TOY HAULER AND THE LIFT ARMS NEEDING REPLACEMENT. THERE WAS ALSO FRACTURED WELDS FOUND THAT NEEDED REPLACING IN ADDITION TO THE HOT WATER SYSTEM NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 07V408000 (EQUIPMENT). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE MULTIPLE FAILURES.…

ALL OF THE4 EA FRONT SUSPENSION/STEERING BALL JOINTS ON MY MOTORHOME WITH A 2003 SPARTAN CHASSIS NUMBER [XXX] HAVE BOOTS THAT ARE CRACKED AND FAILED PER THE MECHANIC AT BRIDGEWAY CUMMINS IN GRAND RAPIDS, MI. I AM TOLD THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, AND THAT THE BALL JOINTS MUST BE REPLACED. SPARTAN APPARENTLY HAD A REPLACEMENT PROGRAM IF THE OWNER COMPLAINED WITHIN 50K MILES AND 5 YEARS, BUT OWNERS HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THE BALL JOINTS ARE FAILING EARLY.
