DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHEN RECALL LETTER # 05V389000 FOR THE STEERING: LINKAGES: ROD: RELAY: CONNECTING WAS RECEIVED AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED WITH A SERVICE DEALER. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN FOR THE RECALL REPAIR, THE SERVICE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THERE WERE ADDITIONAL REPAIRS NEEDED. WHEN THE CONTACT REFUSED THE ADDITIONAL WORK, THE SERVICE DEALER INFORMED THE CONTACT THERE WERE NO REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. UPDATED 12/5/2006 - *NM
