THE CABIN OF THE VEHICLE WAS FULL OF A BLUISH COLOR SMOKE WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF PARKING THE VEHICLE IN THE GARAGE. UPON INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT THE ORIGINATION OF THE SMOKE WAS UNDETERMINED, BUT THE STRONGEST SMOKE SMELL WAS AT THE STEREO AMPLIFIER WIRING LOCATED UNDERNEATH THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1992 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED FOR 45 MINUTES WHEN IT ROLLED BACKWARDS AND STRUCK ANOTHER VEHICLE. BOTH VEHICLES WERE DAMAGED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE FROM THE SCENE. THE CONTACTS VEHICLE SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE BUMPER, TAIL LIGHT, AND REAR PASSENGER SIDE PANEL. THE OTHER VEHICLE SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. THE DOOR WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED. DT: THE CONTACT CHANGED THE DISC BRAKES SHOE PADS BECAUSE HIS WIFE WAS COMPLAINED THAT BRAKES FAILED, AND THERE WAS EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE. AFTERWARDS , THE CONTACT PARKED IN A PARKING STALL AT HOME. THEN THE CONTACT JUST PULLED OUT OF THE WAY, AND WITH HAND STILL ON THE SHIFT INDICATOR THERE WAS SUDDEN ACCELERATION WITH THE VEHICLE IN REVERSE.
